Activity 3: Worth her Weight in Gold [6 points] | Summer Learning Journey

LI: To create a brochure about a place.

Today I have completed the last activity for day 4. For this activity we had to create a brochure about tonga or a place that is important to you. I come from tonga so I chose tonga. I used canva to create my brochure. The brochure was promoting the place and saying places that you should visit there. One of the places to go to was swimming with the whales.

  1. Greetings Fau!,
You have an awesome brochure about Tonga. All the pictures intrigues me to visit Tonga. I like how you have explained what Tonga is and things you can do there. You have a great layout which stands out. I think that your brochure will help people who are travelling to Tonga. Did you find this activity difficult?

    Excellent Work!

  3. Kia Ora Fau,

What an awesome travel poster. Who wouldn’t want to win a family trip to Tonga! Diving and snorkelling sound like great activities to do, especially in water that clear! Have you still got family living in Tonga? Have you gone and visited them recently?

It’s important if you use an image from somewhere that you attribute it. Which just means that you put the website where you got it from, to give the website credit for their image).

You can learn more about attributing images on our website, here is the specific link to the right page: https://sites.google.com/site/summerlearningjourney/cybersmart
    Keep up the awesome posts.

    Blog ya later,

    Dani

  5. Hi Fau,
I liked how you said that Tonga is a great small island, I've never been there but from what your brochure shows, it looks really nice. I also liked how you included a phone number, I don't know if it's a real one or some poor person is about to get a bunch of calls though. How many times have you been to Tonga?
