LI:Structure of an argument.This week for writing my group was making a hypothetical video about if we agree of having technology in schools or against it I was against having technology in school i didn't really mean it it was just for learning.Some of us in my writing group did against having technology and agree of having technology.

Haiku Poem


LI:To write a poem about feelings.
I learnt that a Haiku poem is a Japanese Poem about seasons.I learnt this by watching videos of what a haiku poem is and how to use it. My poem is about Winter.A haiku poem has 5 syllables in the first sentence and 7 in the 2nd then 5 in the last sentence.

Kiwi Sport- Andy

Kiwi Sport
I learnt that when you do a scissor kick you need to lift the same arm as the same leg then with your arm and leg.I learnt this by doing Kiwi Sport with Andy.Today for Kiwi Sport we did jumping.We played a game was called Volcanoes and Valleys.There are cones in the middle of the court and the ones pointing up is the volcanoes the opposite ones were the valleys they were up side down.We were in teams one team had to try make all the cones look like a volcano because they were the volcanoes and the other people were the valleys they had to try make all the cones look like the valleys. After that we did Scissor kick.We did scissor kick for high jump.We did high jump in this session.

Possums


I learnt that possums eat native creatures and much more.I learnt this by reading a book that is called possums problem.The book was about how possums were brought up to New Zealand and how they are destroying our forests.

LI: To jump without bending your knees
I learnt that when you react at the time when your starter starts so you can get to the other end in time and focus on what you are supposed too.I learnt this by reacting quickly to the starter.We played 3 games and some warm ups.

One example of a supporting detail is He was not kind and polite to the lady giving him food.
Another example of a supporting detail is His Friend showed him how it was done by being a bit charm and kind to the lady serving the food.
It is clear that the main idea is to be a bit charm and polite,kind and have some respect in you

Because when you don't show politeness and kindness sometimes you do get what you want.

Today i was doing Key Boarding Drills.Key Boarding drills are good for typing so when you have a Chromebook and when you are learning how to type you can do key Boarding drills on The Class Site I am on Level 2.

Can Do - Number Bonds to 10

Today i played Number bonds to 10 it was one of my can dos.You have to shoot a number to another number to make ten.For example I have 9 i need to try aim it at 1 because 9 + 1 = 10.

Today I read a book called C is for Canada.It is abut how Stephanie and Jacqueline are two friends living in different countries they both email each other about what they have been doing while they are in different countries.Stephanie she is studying about People,Economics,Government,History,Culture,Religion and physical Geography and she is telling Jacqueline to help her with it using Canada for all those topics.Jacqueline finds more and more information about those topics each day and sends the information to Stephanie.

Kiwi Can

LI:To control your emotions while other people is around you.
Today for kiwi can we were talking about self control or controlling your emotions.We played two activities the first one was when we had to standing a circle with legs apart with your team touching feet and we have a ball and we need to try roll it into another person in your team (in the circle) through there legs them when the time is up Mr Malu says for the winners to stand up.The second game was dodge ball this was a safe dodge ball the whole class had to form a circle and Mr Malu gives us a number and we have to remember it and when he says our then we have to stand up and walk in the middle of the circle and the people who are sitting down have to try hit the ball at us (the people standing in the middle of the circle) between our knee and our foot no longer than that because it might hurt us.We didn't get to play another game of dodge ball because the bell went for morning tea.SO we said "Thank you Kiwi Can 1 2 3,1 2 3 KC Shoo!" While doing the actions.

Today I commented on Victoria's Blog her title for her Blog post was  Raz Kids - Spare the turkey.Her blog post was about her reading a book called Spare the turkey it's about a boy having thanks giving at boys house but he was shocked because on the dining table there was No turkey! LI:To unfold a 3D shape into a Net.I learnt that unfolding a 3D shape is when you are like unfolding a 3D shape so you know how it was made and the pieces.I learnt this by choosing a three 3D shapes and outlining and measuring the area.

LI: to create our own advertisement.I learnt that advertisement is when you are persuading someone to buy or get your product.I learnt this by creating this video about our product The J.K.R Handball.It is the worlds bounciest hand you can buy it in the history of the Universe.The special features for this ball is when ever it bounces it changes color.This is no Ordinary handball it is the Worlds BEST handball.

LI:To learn what Self control is.Today for Kiwi Can we were talking about what is Self control and how to use it.We played 2 games one games was rats and rabbits the other game was Bip Bop Bounce.In those games had included self control.

LI:To separate fact from opinion.I learnt that a fact is something true and a opinion is something you think is true but actually isn't. I learnt this by watching a video about Fact and Opinion. We had to find the Fact and Opinion from a short video called Mouse For sale.

Today i Read a book called Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp.It is about how one day  Aladdin meets a magician that lies to him and says that he is Aladdin's fathers brother and sets him up to find something very special to the Magician.I read this book on Raz Kids.

Jet Ski Addition

Today i was playing Jet ski Addition.You have to compete other players by answering maths questions like addition.You can win by answering almost all the questions correctly.

                                                          Make sound decisions about safety.I learnt that making a team is working together and encouraging each other.I learnt this by using padlet and we wrote down what makes a relationship and how it can change.We worked as groups.There were five groups.I was in group five.We wrote lots of information also the other groups.



Kiwi Sport

Today we went to Kiwi Sport and our coach was Andy.She was teaching us how to run in a line looking straight ahead and more.Today we were learning what were the difference between 400m Distance and Sprint.We first started the session with warm up.For the warm up we were running around the hall.Then we lined up at one end of the hall and waited till Andy CLAPPED then we ran to the other end of the hall.We had to focus on the starter which was Andy our coach then we run.

I learnt that summarising is when you find keywords and phrases to summarise the text.I learnt this by doing Summarising the Main idea.We read an article about how a cargo ship had got light struck and it had three big containers on the ship one container tipped in the Ocean.It had Plastic yellow ducks, blue turtles and green frogs in it and they set free in the ocean helping scientist work out the currents.

Today we went to Kiwi Can .The theme for Kiwi Can was Emotions and the Topic was Resilience.I learnt that Team Work is when you encourage your team members to take take a risk in there learning, or if you play a sport and  you have a team member that is shy and thinks that he/she will make fun of themselves and let everyone down,you can encourage them and cheer for them and say positive things of what they can do.I learnt this by playing some activities at Kiwi Can.Mr Malu and Mrs Latoya were looking for Participation,Positive Attitude,Team work,Respect and Encouragement during the activities.

 read The Titanic treasure on Raz Kids.It was about how the titanic sank and some facts about who was on the  ship and people who survived the ship and people who didn't survive the ship.It was a very interesting story.After we read it we had to do all these questions.
