Bonus Activity: Crossing the Tasman - Week Two: A Period of Change (1870-1950)

YAY!! I felt shocked that the fact that we FINALLY LANDED!!
It was really shocking to me
To see that we have landed safely,
I never thought that we would of landed safely with that amount of time to get there

With all the heavy ice and rain we didn't think we could make it
Unluckily the RADIO STOPPED WORKING!
The pilot couldn't see the front windscreen!

We all were tired from the flight,
Some of us sleeping some of us not,
With all of our tiredness I never knew that we will land safely in Christchurch!

As we landed I felt the rush of shock and fortunate that we have did it
Even though it was a first time
All the way from Tasman Australia to Christchurch NZ

This bonus activity was about a crew of four men flew, for the first time, across the Tasman from Australia to New Zealand and we had to write poem that describe how we felt if we were in the flight.

Wow! What a fantastic post Fau! Great use of words too “fortunate” and “the rush of shock”. Ka pai! I would be so scared if I couldn’t see through the windscreen OR contact anyone by the radio!! They were very brave pilots! You did an awesome job at describing how they would have felt.

You show a high level of creativity and hard work in your posts Fau, keep it up! :D

What do you think the people at Christchurch were thinking?

I look forward to reading more of your posts.

    Cadence :)
