Sky Tower | Home learning

LI: to take a virtual tour of Aotearoa For one of the activities we took a virtual tour of the Sky Tower. We did three activities for the Sky Tower activity. The first activity we searched up five interesting facts about the Skytower and we had to make a DLO about it. For the second activity we had to make a new mascot for the Sky Tower and we had to explain why we did that mascot. For the last activity, which was the bonus activity we had to pick one of the activities from the Sky Tower and say why we would do that activity. Me and Chris worked to together to complete these activities.

    Hi Fau

    This is an excellent example of collaboration, well done. I found fact 4 really interesting as that is quite a strong earthquake for a building to remain standing. We are very lucky the people who designed this structure were able to do that. See if you and Chris can find out how the tall buildings in Los Angeles stay safe in an earthquake. Is this the same way the architects and engineers designed our Sky Tower?
