Stop this horrendus CRIME!
LI: To identify the main ideas in the text.
This week we had read an article called " Stop this horrendus crime!". It was about experimenting on animals and why that shouldn't happen. I had to make a flipgrid on whether I agree with the article or not and why. I had found out that defenceless poor animals are being tested on and prodded with poison from needles and before their death they are forced to inhale toxic fumes.

Too Much Technology | Persuasive Texts

This week for reading we have been doing Synthesising and QAR's. QAR stands for Question Answer Relationship. We had to read a persuasive text talking about Too Much Technology. The author of the text was saying the bad things about technology and why there is too much technology. We had to make a flip grid about whether we agree or disagree with the text. With the QAR's we had sort out 10 questions based on the 4 QAR types, Right there, Think and Search, Author and me and on my own.

Synthesising | Make Connections | Information Gathering

LI: to make connections.
This week for reading we had been reading the book called "Just like new". It is about a girl in tonga named Pepe she helps her aunty Teisa make a Kiekie. We had used the strategies synthesising and making connections. We have also used our prior knowledge with our groups to try figure out what the story was about by just seeing the pictures. For making connections we had done Text to text, Text to self and text to world. We had worked on a google slide and a google draw.
