He is a activist who belives in equal rights for black people and white people of south africa. We had to find our his history and philosophy and how it can be applied to LS1.  I worked with Sulia and Miiana. We worked on a Google Slide presentation to do it. LI: To read a book and find out what the book it about.

This week I read the book Little Guides to Great Lives: Nelson Madela. It is called Little Guide to Great Lives: Nelson Mandela. This book is about a man who inspired to the world. His name was Nelson Mandela. Mandela was the first ever black president of South Africa. He was born in a small village in South Africa. Mandela grew up surrounded by hills and green valleys, where he felt free. As he became older he realized that black South Africans were not free at all. Only the white people could vote and have the say on how the country was run. It was dangerous to go against this, but Mandela didn’t let that stop him. He set out a journey to change the way the system works.
