Identifying Decimals
LI: to identify and count tenths, hundredths, and thousandths.
Thsi week for maths we have been talking about decimal points and fractions. A decimal is a number lower than one but higher than zero. We had learnt the types of decimal place value. We had been focusing on the tenths, hundredths and thousandths. We had to write down the fraction, the number before and the number after, e.g 0.3 - fraction - 3/10 - number before - 0.2 - number after - 0.4.
