Activity 3: The WWF: World Wildlife Fund [10 points]

LI: To talk about WWF( World Wildlife Fund).

WWF helps to save freshwater seals and make snowbanks so they can have there pups there so they don't die. Most seals have there pups in open ice where they can die by predators. They also help protect tigers in the wildlife.

For this activity I had to watch two video clips about WWF. One about making snow banks for freshwater seals and another one about saving tigers in the wild.

  1. Kia Ora Fau,

Well done on answering the questions about the seal video. Do you think that the volunteers have made a difference to the lives of the seal pups? Did you enjoy watching the different videos? I enjoyed watching the tiger video about anyone being a tiger protector. If you have the chance to work for the WWF which animal would you want to work with? I would want to work something in Africa working to save rhinos and elephants from poaching.

    Blog ya later!
