Mounted Artwork

LI: To mount our finished artwork.

This week we were finishing off our artwork from last week. We had to cut out our quatrefoils and write a small piece of writing like a recount talking about our three pieces of artwork. We had to do the page setup and all that so the teachers can print them off. We put artwork on a big piece of blank white paper.   We glued on our 3 pieces of art in the the layout we want. We cut out the piece of text we have written and glued it on our big piece of paper. Then we get the piece of paper with our name on it and glue it to the bottom right corner or the paper. Then we put it away so the teachers can staple it on the wall ready so everyone can see it.

Max Gimblett

LI: To create an artwork based on theme.

Max Gimblett is a famous artist from New Zealand. For Inquiry LS1 had to find out information about Max Gimblett. The teachers set us a task. We had to find a partner. My partner was Victoria. We had to use our researching skills to find out the answers to the questions about Max Gimblett. We had to use quatrefoils and design them based on the theme which was Christmas, Armerstice Day and Max Gimbletts artwork.
