Kiwi Sport - Rippa Rugby
Today we had rippa rugby with Hamish. Our focus was to make a rip. First we had to put on our belts and tags. Then we played a game called everybodies it. We all had to try rip off as many tags as possible and when we ripped the we stick it on our belts. We played 2 games of this. Then we had to find a partner and play rats and rabbits. We had to face partner and one of us were rabbits and the other was rats. If Hamish said orange the people closes to the orange cones had to run to safety and the other team had to try get your rippas. We had to run straight not diagonally. It was the same if Hamish said yellow the people closes to the yellow had to run to safety. Then we had to stay in our partners and one of us was in front and one of us were at the back. The person at the back had to try rip the other persons rips. So the people infront had to run and the people at the back had to try run to rip their rips. The people at the back had to put their hand on their heads to not cheat at the beginning. Then we played rippa rush. It was kind of like octopus but instead of tagging them we had to rip their rippas and if we do then they are on the person who is ripping the rips to. After that we had to play an actual game but we could run with the ball. We split up into 3 groups 2 groups play while the other stay rest. The people who won the round had to stay one but the people who lose they had to swap with the resting team. After that we all had to thank Hamish and go back to class.
