Shapes

LI:To learn about the three dimensional shapes' names and there properties.This week for maths I have learnt lots of things about a Rectangle and Cube.I learnt this by creating a presentation about shapes.We were talking about Prisms and Pyramids.

Making safe decisions

LI:To make safe decisions.I learnt to not send personal information to random people on video chat sites.I learnt this by doing helpful activities that helped me.We paired up and did the activities together.The first activity was Personal strengths and safe decisions.It was about personal strengths and making safe decisions.

Duck Overboard

LI:To Identify The main Ideas in the text.I learnt that the bath toys travel in different directions and that it takes a number of time to hit dry ground.I learnt this by reading helpful articles and a video about Duck Overboard.They say if you seem to find one of these bath toys then you get rewarded $100 from  "The First Years" Company and it still has that say.The toys traveled 17,000 miles.The toys floated above the water where the titanic ship sank,in 1912 15 April.

Persuasive - Word Art

LI:What is Persuasion
LI:To Show what we already know about the purpose and language of advertising.
I learnt that Persuasive writing is you opinion. Persuade means to convince.I learnt this by watching these videos about persuasive writing and advertisement.First we watched a video called kid president.It was about  "How to Disagree with people."It is a kid president telling us how to disagree and that we need disagreements in life. We had to come up with persuasive language on wordle then make our art on Word Art.This is some words that i chose Tremendous,Yummiest,Advertisement and Convince.

Kiwi can

LI:To be Resilience in what you do and try your best.We learnt what Resilience is and that it means bouncing back and coping your challenges.This is our energizer and our activity we had done.For the energizer Mr malu our kiwi can teacher  put us into four groups and told us a emotion then act it out in a group.For our activity we had to get a buddy and mr malu would say an emotion and we have to try make your buddy (statue) look like the emotion that Mr malu said.

Tamaki Wrap

     I learnt that you can use different materials other than plastic.I learnt that we can produce a billion plastic bags in nine minutes a day.Today we went to the hall to learn about plastic with Tamaki wrap,a company that came to our school to teach us about plastic and how it is bad.Plastic bags can kill animals and sea creatures,It can also make floods by getting stuck in drains making floods.If there was no plastic then we wouldn't have a problem.We should stop using plastic and start using different materials.
